Jin-wook seems intrigued by Yul-hee’s schemes, as she warns him about picking sides carefully. Later, Hae-in pressures Hye-in to falsely accuse Yul-hee of pushing her, hoping to get her expelled. When Hye-in refuses, Hae-in begins threatening her, pushing things too far.
Eventually, Hye-in agrees to help, planning to take the stolen necklace to the chairman first, then the police. This promise puts Hae-in in a celebratory mood, thinking she’s won. At the same time, Je-na finds out her cards have been blocked and is told she’s being sent abroad.
Feeling lost, she turns to Hye-in for help and stays with her for the night. Meanwhile, Jin-wook faces threats from his father if he fails in his task. That night, Bo-seok suddenly attacks Hye-in, but Sa-rang jumps in just in time to save her.
