What happened in Bon Appétit, Your Majesty episode 11: A quick recap
Episode 11 of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty picks up right after King Lee-heon proposed to Ji-young. When he asked her to stay as his companion, Ji-young mentioned that she needed to return to the time she came from, and her father must be worried about her.
However, Ji-young also said that if there's any way to come back to him, she will return. King Lee-heon understood Ji-young and promised to wait for her and hugged her. The two had a calm and heartfelt moment that Ji-young will forever remember.
The next day, everyone at the palace prepares for Queen Dowagner's ceremony, and Lee-heon himself presents a dance for her. However, the tables turned soon after the truth about the King's mother's death came out, fueling Lee-heon with rage.
He takes out his sword to kill everyone responsible for his mother's death, but Lee-heon's maternal grandmother reveals that her daughter's last wish was to see Lee-heon become a wise and calm emperor of Joseon.
To stop him, even Ji-young confesses that she loves the King and cannot let him become a tyrant. For a moment, it looked like everything had been settled, but Ji-young was kidnapped at night, and the revolt by Prince Jesan began.
Jesan killed almost every ally of the King, including the Queen and the King's servants. Not only this, Song-jae also gave up his life to save Lee-heon, and now everything is at stake.
