Tension is high in the royal kitchen as Yeon Ji-young and her team are facing a tough battle against the Ming chefs in Bon Appétit, Your Majesty K-drama. The cooking contest finally began in the latest episode, and the first round ended up being a tie between the two nations.

The twist: King Lee-heon announced that if the other two rounds also resulted in a tie, they would declare Ming as the ultimate winner. This means that Ji-young has only one option: Win the cooking battle.

So, being a chef from 2025, will Yeon Ji-young be able to defeat the Ming chefs in the next episode of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty? As of now, the fate of Joseon is uncertain. The second round scores were almost revealed, but episode 8 left viewers hanging.

However, there have been clips and pictures being circulated on social media platforms like Instagram, where Ji-young, Gil-geum, and the other three chefs are drenched in blood and look miserable. So does that mean Joseon will lose? Or is it just a hallucination the cooks might experience?

Lee Chae-min and Lim Yoon-a's new K-drama, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, is winning hearts globally. Since Lee is one of the youngest actors, fans didn't know he would take only a few minutes to impress viewers with his acting, alongside beloved actress and singer Yoona.

Their chemistry is also one of the reasons why fans cannot stop talking about the K-drama on Netflix and tvN. The story follows Yoona as a talented chef from 2025, who fell into the Joseon era, and has now become the chief royal cook at the palace.

Ji-young has been making dishes that the King never ate, and now she's facing the Ming (Chinese) chefs against her. As mentioned above, episode 8 focuses on the first and second rounds, leaving viewers curious about the results.

Even though Ji-young comes from the future (almost 500 years after the Joseon era), the Mings are giving her a hard time. And if she loses, Joseon will face the biggest loss of its valuable ingredients.

Ji-young was unable to use her red chili powder in the first round because Ya Feixiu had taken it, a setback that might have cost her the win. Now, Ji-young’s last hope rests on the newly invented pressure cooker. But the lid, still in Chun-saeng’s hands, is yet to arrive in the upcoming Episode 9 of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
