Call the Midwife Season 14 is officially and finally making its way to Netflix, and fans in the U.S. won't have to wait long to stream it. After completing its run on PBS earlier this year, the newest season of the British drama will finally be released on Netflix on September 15, 2025.

This means that all of the 14 seasons will now live together on the same streaming platform, making it the perfect time to revisit Poplar's stories before Season 15 comes about.

Call the Midwife Season 14 finally joins the Netflix lineup

For years, Call the Midwife on Netflix has been a comfort series for fans in the US. Until now, though, U.S. subscribers had one frustrating gap, i.e., the most recent season. That gap officially comes to a close this very September, as Call the Midwife Season 14 releases on Netflix with all eight episodes ready to watch all at once.

With the 14th installment finally making its way to the platform, fans will once again get to follow the lives of the midwives and nuns of Nonnatus House.

This season was originally released in the U.K. between January and March 2025 before moving over to PBS in the U.S. later in the spring. Set in the year 1970, the new episodes of Call the Midwife Season 14 bring Poplar into a new decade brimming with social unrest, community struggles, and a handful of stories that fans are just about to love.

Strikes, protests, and red tape challenged the community, but through it all, the midwives pressed on, delivering babies and fighting for dignity in London's East End.

The returning cast once again led the series with warmth and depth. Actors like Jennifer Agutter, Judy Parfitt, and Renée Bailey, amongst others, carried the season. Romance was seen by some, while others faced tough decisions about love, faith, and family. A storyline about a teenage pregnancy, in particular, left fans talking long after the finale aired.

Now that a proper Netflix release date is pinned, fans can finally rewatch those arcs or catch them for the first time without any delay.

Looking ahead while also revisiting the past

The joy of Call the Midwife Season 14 coming to Netflix is, in a way, twofold because it ties up the loose ends for anyone who missed the show on PBS, as well as setting the stage for what's coming next. The show has already been renewed through Season 15, and filming is currently in progress.

After Call the Midwife Season 14 lands on Netflix, fans can settle in knowing they have over a hundred episodes to rewatch. Season 13 touched on the moon landing and the late sixties; Season 14 jumped into a changing Britain; and Season 15, which premieres in early 2026, promises even more layered storytelling.

In short, this Netflix drop is both a reunion with the past and a doorway to what’s still to come.

With Call the Midwife Season 14 landing on Netflix on September 15, 2025, U.S. fans can finally keep the full story in one place. From strikes to tender births in Poplar, this season looked at social change and personal wins.

Whether you're catching up or rewatching the show, it's the perfect way to prepare for Season 15's release next year. Nonnatus House continues to open its doors, and now Netflix has too.
