Countdown Episode 7, titled Nothing Else Helps, will exclusively premiere on Prime Video next week on Wednesday, July 23, as Nathan Blythe's task force struggles to stay a step ahead of Volchek (portrayed by Bogdan Yasinski). As seen in episode 6, the Belarusian's terror plot is gearing up with full force, and despite Astapov's efforts to stop (and manipulate) him using apparently decent offers, the antagonist is not ready to back down.
Countdown Episode 7 might be the first step towards the climax, and fans are eagerly awaiting another face-off between Volchek and Jensen Ackles' Mark Meachum. Moreover, just like the previous ones, Countdown Episode 7 will be about 50 minutes long, and so far, the somewhat ambiguous title has left a lot of questions as to what direction the plot might take.
Will the task force figure out the significance of the name Gallagher before Borys Volchek sets his plan in motion? All the answers lie on the other side of the upcoming episode.

What to expect from Countdown Episode 7
After a wild goose chase across the Southern Californian desert in Countdown Episode 6, Nathan Blythe's task force hits a dead end - Shawn Gallagher, a man with a criminal record but no apparent links to Volchek's terror plot. On the other hand, Volchek has successfully shipped in hundreds and tons of fissile material into his den (with the help of Gallagher Freight), potent enough to blow up an entire city like L.A.
On the other hand, Volchek has eliminated Danill owing to his betrayal, and in the coming episode, the latter's uncle confronts the Belarusian terrorist. The lead on Gallagher has already gone cold, and the task force has no idea what it means - so in Countdown Episode 7, they will be looking for new dots to join.
Mark's worsening health condition has been pulling him back from being in his best form, and Detective Oliveras is already smelling something fishy (as seen in Countdown Episode 6). So, this time she is more careful about Mark not overusing the pills she got from her. Moreover, Volchek is ready to assemble his weapon of mass destruction, so an intervention from the task force is absolutey essential now.
