For that, the announcer revealed some surprising twists. One of them was related to choosing the opponents. For that, the previously paired teammates were turned into each other's opponents. Additionally, they would also share their ingredients from the previous round.

Culinary Class Wars Season 2 Episode 10: Cheftestants get surprised after they learn about their opponents for the One-on-One Life-or-Death Match

The latest Culinary Class Wars Season 2 Episode 10 saw the announcer revealing details about the upcoming match. It was the fourth round's second One-on-One Life-or-Death match.

The episode started with the kitchen counters moving in circles. Everyone was surprised to see that. The platform stopped moving after teammates were on opposite sides of each other.

"The second match of the fourth round is...a One-on-One Life-or-Death Match. The opponent you will face in this Life-or-Death Match...will be none other than your former teammate," revealed the announcer.

Listening to the announcement, everyone was in shock. Someone called it crazy.

Cheftestants competing against each other included:

• Culinary Monster vs. Son Jong-Won,
• Sam Kim vs. Jung Ho-Young,
• Kim Hee-Eun vs. Venerable Sunjae,
• Hou Deok-Juk vs. Chun Sang-Hyun,

Someone noted that they were turned into "enemies" from being teammates. After Kim Hee-Eun learned that Venerable Sunjae would be competing against her, she confessed:

"I mean, it's Vulnerable Sunjae. I'm up against a master."

One of the judges also noted that it was "dramatic." The announcer further shared that for this round, Culinary Class Wars chefs could only use the ingredients they had used in their previous team battle.

Listening to another twist, everyone was even more surprised. One of the cheftestants noted that it was brutal. A few of them clapped after seeing how another twist was revealed. One of the competing participants noted that it was the reason why they were supposed to get the "double amounts" in the previous round.

Other participants also talked about how they found the "double" amounts to be a weird thing during the previous round. Now, they had learned that it was for this twist. However, that was not all. Further, the twist was that two participants in pairs, who were now opponents, would also share the ingredients.

"This means the two of you must share the ingredients you each used for the previous challenge. Divide them, however you wish. But every chef must create a dish that will defeat their opponent," added the announcer.

Soon, participating chefs on Culinary Class Wars started sorting the ingredients. They shared them with their opponents and got their required ingredients to their assigned counters. Some of the participants who were witnessing this noted that there would be completely different dishes from each chef.

The announcement revealed that winners of these one-on-one matches would advance to the Top 7. As for the losing participants, they would be eliminated. They won't get a second chance to return to the competition.
