Doc fans may brace themselves as Season 2, Episode 3, titled 'New Blood,' is on the horizon. After the season kickoff, everyone has their attention glued to Dr. Amy Larsen (Molly Parker) and her team at Westside Hospital.

Now, the new episode will premiere on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. It is airing 9 p.m. Eastern/8 p.m. Central on Fox, as usual.

The first two episodes of Doc Season 2 already elevated the tension, and Episode 3 is probably coming in with even more emotional wreckage, crushing hospital relationships, and Amy’s memory getting put through a rollercoaster of challenges.

Doc Season 2 dropped the viewers straight into the chaos unfolding at Westside Hospital. In Episode 1, a desperate father named Alex held the hospital hostage, trying to get his daughter Rosie a new heart by any means possible.

As the drama elevated, Dr. Amy Larsen, struggling with retrograde amnesia that erases eight years of her life, was stuck inside, dodging bullets with her coworkers. Meanwhile, TJ, a resident, gets critically wounded, adding to the turmoil of doctors already dealing with professional and personal mess. Amy is trying to handle the crisis while piecing together her shredded memories and trying not to freak out.

Katie, Amy, and Michael’s daughter is going around the hospital trying to find her family while the premises turn into a war zone. In a high-stakes surgery, Amy is literally saving Rosie’s life as everyone else is barely holding it together. In the aftermath, people are scarred, both physically and emotionally. TJ has a rough road ahead, and the whole staff needs serious therapy after a day like that.

Doc Season 2 Episode 2, titled Delusions of Grandeur, dives deeper into the chaos: after the hostage situation, everyone at the hospital is walking on eggshells, trying to figure out where they stand and if they can stand each other at all. Amy is still fumbling her way through heart-to-hearts with Jake, Gina, and Michael.

Trust is hanging by a thread, especially with a tangled love triangle that is half-rooted in memories Amy can’t even piece together. Then there is Dr. Joan Ridley (Felicity Huffman), Amy’s ex-mentor, who strolls in and instantly challenges all the power plays. The whole fragile pecking order is shaking, and Amy is left wondering if she will ever actually fit in.

Doc Season 2 Episode 3, New Blood, will probably not waste time stirring the pot. If you believe the teasers, Amy is about to get way more chaos than she bargained for. Fresh faces are clocking in at the hospital, and apparently, Amy gets thrown into a high-pressure case that could shake her fledgling confidence.

If you thought her struggle for a little independence was cooling off, things are probably about to heat up. There are still echoes from the disaster in the first episode, and the drama web at Westside is only gonna get tackier. While medical crises are not going anywhere, we will dig deeper into the confusion these characters call their love lives, rivalries, and alliances.
