Perfect Match Season 3: Show host Nick Lachey, with Lucy and Daniel, revealed the elimination twist

The fifth episode saw one of the shocking twists of Perfect Match Season 3. It was after Lucy and Daniel were sent into the boardroom with special power. They were told to choose the two most compatible couples.

The two chose:

  • AD and Ollie,
  • Madison and Freddie.

Soon, Nick revealed to the two:

"So, there are the only two couples today that are eligible to be sent on dates. Our goal here today is give these two most compatible couples an opportunity to truly test their compatibility."

He added:

"So, as always, you'll be sending two people on a date today. The difference is this time around, you're gonna be sending one man and one woman."

Nick said that it can't be from the same couple. Additionally, whoever they choose, their current match will be sent home. After the fifth episode ended with a cliffhanger, the next episode started from that exact point.

Perfect Match Season 3 Episode 6 saw Nick Lachey arrive to deliver the twist. He told everyone that it was a "twisty day." He revealed that Daniel and Lucy's visit to the boardroom wasn't a "typical" boardroom experience.

He said that the two were supposed to choose two people to go on a date. The difference was that they also had to choose who would leave the house.

"If you are currently in a match with someone being sent on a date, you have to leave the house," said Nick.

Everyone was surprised to hear that. Soon, Lucy and Daniel returned. They mentioned that the decision wasn't easy. Lucy revealed that the couples they chose were AD-Ollie and Madison-Freddie.

Perfect Match star Madison confessed that it felt like a nightmare. Participants who were going on the dates with new singles were Madison and Ollie. It meant, AD and Freddie had to leave the show. As soon as Lucy mentioned Madison, tears rolled down her cheeks.

AD also got emotional. She said it was a "little bit too much" for her and left the conversation. Ollie tried to console her. Freddie was trying to comfort Madison, who was still crying.
