Good Boy is the latest Korean action-comedy series that first premiered on May 31, 2025, on the Korean network JTBC. Directed by Shim Na-yeon, with the story written by Lee Dae-i, the story centers around a group of retired athletes who once competed for the nation.

What happened in Good Boy Episode 8: A quick recap
The fight against Min Ju-yeong continues in Good Boy Episode 8 "The Aimless Bullet," which begins with a flash-forward to a future battlefield where the team is deep in combat. The glimpse features Man-shik, Han-na, and Jong-hyeon fighting off criminals while Dong-ju speeds after someone on a motorbike.
It then jumps back to the present, continuing from Dong-ju and Han-na’s kiss as their romance quietly begins. Jong-hyeon grows suspicious and awkwardly invites Dong-ju to stay with him instead of Han-na. A light moment follows when Dong-ju finds old couple photos and teases Jong-hyeon, leading to playful banter between them.
The team is assigned to a kids’ workshop as punishment, but Dong-ju charms the commissioner to reduce his suspension. When Man-shik gets bitten by a venomous ant from a drug box, the team uses it to stage a pest control operation at the port and uncover hidden drugs.
Ju-yeong retaliates by torturing a hostage and tricking the team with false information. This leads to an ambush in the Jungdong Tunnel, where every member fights to survive. The episode ends with Dong-ju chasing a suspect, leaving his team in danger.
What to expect from Good Boy Episode 9?
In the next episode, the team will continue its fight inside the tunnel, which will end with Min Ju-yeong and his criminal network taking away Han-na with them. Despite the injuries and sufferings, the misfits won't back down.
And taking away Han-na has only fueled rage inside them. As Dong-ju said, "Once we find her, then I'm gonna raise hell", suggesting just how strong the team is getting in this fight. Additionally, Drug Demon has a crush on Dong-ju, so she might end up helping him indirectly if her business is unaffected.
