The boy, Bae Gyeon-u, isn't just a transfer student and her crush, but he's also connected to Seong-ah's dreams. While Gyeon-u seems cold-hearted, Seong-ah stays friendly and helpful towards him and even fights evil spirits for him.

The third episode of the show Head Over Heels will be released on June 30, 2025. If you're watching from South Korea, you can catch the episode on the tvN channel at 8:50 PM local time.
For people watching from outside South Korea, especially international audiences, the episode won’t be on TV but will be available to stream online. Viewers can watch it on Amazon Prime Video, where it will become available on the same day.
Also, the show doesn’t just release random episodes. It follows a regular schedule, where two new episodes come out every week. One on Monday and another on Tuesday. That means this Episode 3 is part of the Monday release batch, so Head Over Heels Episode 4 will follow the next day, which is July 1, 2025.

What Happened in Head Over Heels Episode 2: A quick recap
In Episode 2 of Head Over Heels, Seong-ah and Gyeon-u are punished to clean outside the school after the boys' restroom incident. While cleaning, Seong-ah notices a puppy's spirit and mentions helping him because he's cute.
Gyeon-u heard what she said and thought it was for a boy at the school. At the same time, an infernal ghost is keeping tabs on Gyeon-u at the school. Later, Seong-ah and Ji-ho visit Gyeon-u's house for dinner.
While eating, Ji-ho asks Gyeon-u to be nice to his grandmother, thinking he's an orphan. His grandmother then explains that Gyeon-u's parents are working outside the city. This is when Seong-ah reveals she's adopted.
While Seong-ah was leaving Gyeon-u's house, his grandmother stopped her to hand over the purse she had forgotten at home, and said, "Thank you, Fairy Cheonji!". Seong-ah is surprised to learn that Gyeon-u's grandmother knows who she is.
Later at the shrine, the old woman visits Seong-ah and brings the Japchae she loves. Since Gyeon-u believes the shaman is another con artist, he yells at her for making his grandmother bring food for her.
As the episode nears its end, Seong-ah once again saves Gyeon-u's life. This time, from the infernal ghost in the school's storage room. At the end of the episode, Gyeon-u loses his grandmother, which breaks him apart.
Seong-ah rushes towards him at the funeral, ensuring him that no matter how hard he tries to keep her away, he will still be there for him. This way, Head Over Heels Episode 2 ends on an emotional note.
What to expect from Head Over Heels Episode 3?
In the next episode of Head Over Heels, Gyeon-u will continue to face life-threatening situations. Following the rumors of him being an arsonist, his schoolmates have gradually started to dislike him, except Ji-ho and Seong-ah.
The preview shows Seong-ah's adoptive mother also performing a ritual and learning more about Gyeon-u's misfortune. At the same time, Seong-ah remains hopeful that she'll manage to save him.
