Heroes Next Door cast: Heroes Next Door cast and characters: Here’s who brings ENA’s popular K-drama to life

ENA's action comedy drama, Heroes Next Door, premiered on November 17, 2025, and is currently among the most popular K-dramas. The series follows the story of a group of ex-special forces agents living in the same neighborhood who come together to protect their families.

The series brings some of the most popular South Korean actors together in the ensemble cast, such as Yoon Kye-sang, Jin Seon-kyu, and several others.

From a former special operations officer to a counterterrorism officer, the characters in the K-drama are from various special forces who live in Changri-dong and work regular jobs now. However, due to threats looming around their neighborhood, these people come together, forming a secret group to save their loved ones.

The cast and characters of Heroes Next Door are as follows:

1) Yoon Kye-sang as Choi Kang

Yoon Kye-sang's character Choi Kang is introduced as an insurance investigator. Known for his calm demeanor, Kang is also a former JDD operations agent. He is also the leader of the group that the former agents have formed to protect Changri-dong.

Kye-sang is popularly known for his recent role of Ju Ga-ram in Netflix's hit K-drama, The Winning Try. He has also appeared in other popular K-dramas such as The Frog, Chocolate, and High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged, among others.

2) Kim Ji-hyun as Jung Nam-yeon

Kim Ji-hyun's character, Nam-yeon, is another member of the secret team in Heroes Next Door. She is also an ex-special forces unit instructor and now the owner of Mammoth Mart in Changri-dong.

Ji-hyun is also among the popular South Korean actors and has appeared in numerous fan-favourite dramas such as Thirty-Nine, A Hundred Memories, and Law and the City, among several others.

3) Lee Jung-ha as Park Jeong-hwan

Lee Jung-ha's character, Park Jeong-han, is another great addition to the team in the K-drama. Like others, Jeong-han also worked in special forces and was a mortarman, but now is an engineering student at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, and helps the team with his technological brilliance to be a step ahead of their enemies.

Lee Jung-ha came into prominence with Disney+'s popular superhero K-drama, Moving, where he played one of the main characters, Kim Bong-seok. Other popular K-dramas that he appeared in are Good Boy, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung, and One: High School Heroes.

4) Jin Seon-kyu as Gwak Byung-nam

Another popular name in Heroes Next Door is Jin Seon-kyu, who plays the character of Gwak Byung-nam. He is a former HID counter-terrorism agent who now owns a hardware and stationery shop in Changri-dong. Byung-nam is also an active member of the community and is the youth association president, and a member of the secret team that is trying to protect the community.

Seon-kyu is among the most popular K-drama actors and has been seen in numerous acclaimed K-dramas such as The Price of Confession, King the Land, The Uncanny Counter, and Revenant, among various others.

5) Ko Kyu-pil as Lee Yong-hee

Ko Kyu-pil's character, Lee Yong-hee, is always ready to help when it comes to the Changri-dong community in the ENA K-drama. Like the other members, Yong-hee also comes from the same special forces background and used to work in the cyber operations unit. Therefore, he is also a part of the secret group to protect the community.

Kyung-pil was previously seen in K-dramas such as Twelve, The Fiery Priest, Crash Landing on You, and The King's Affection, among numerous others.
