Hulu's new docuseries, Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg, explores the gruesome death of Ellen Greenberg, a 27-year-old teacher who was found dead in her Philadelphia apartment back in 2011.
Although the death was initially ruled as a case of suicide, Greenberg's parents contested the ruling and now, in a shocking turn of events, the case has been reopened and is now being treated as a case of homicide.
The Hulu docuseries will explore a lot of angles that have previously not been uncovered by the media, especially during the time that the crime originally took place.
Viewers can watch the three part docuseries on Hulu, as it is now available for streaming.

Hulu's latest docuseries, Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg, explores the curious death of a 27-year-old Philadelphia teacher
The Hulu docuseries will be a three-part series, exploring the points of view of Greenberg's friends and family, who have been contesting the ruling of suicide for years now.
Back in 2011, 27-year-old teacher Ellen Greenberg was found dead in her apartment in Philadelphia. The death was quite gruesome, as she was found with over 20 stab marks all over her body when her body was discovered. However, the incident was ruled as a case of suicide till it was reopened recently, now being investigated as a case of homicide.
According to Josh Greenberg, Ellen's father, the original story is full of twists, turns, lies, and falseties.
"The story carried itself to this point. There's so many twists and turns, lies and falsehoods."
Nancy Schwartzman, director of Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg, is working closely with Annie McCormick, a reporter from 6abc, who closely followed the case during the time of its occurrence. According to Schwartzman, Annie's inputs have greatly helped put things into perspective.
"Annie makes a really interesting point that, at the beginning, this wasn't really covered. Because you hear about it, and then it's a suicide, and it goes away.
She even goes on to highlight the crucial role that media coverage played in this case.
"News coverage and journalism were such a huge part of this story. The Greenbergs were not getting any movement or answers from all these institutions, the police, the medical examiners."
According to Sandee Greenberg, Ellen's mother, their motive in the Hulu docuseries, Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg, is simply for the world to know the truth about their daughter.
"By launching this docuseries, the world could see the steps, the heartbreak, but give you concrete evidence. You can make up your own mind, but I want you to get to know our daughter."
All episodes of Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg are available to stream on Hulu.
