The Lowdown has premiered on FX, bringing back the era of the noir genre on television. Starring Ethan Hawke in the lead, the show revolves around Lee Raybon, a self-proclaimed ‘truthstorian” who meddles with people’s business in his endeavor to bring out the truth in the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This leads to some chaotic situations, and more often than not, Lee finds himself in dangerous circumstances. The show has a stellar cast featuring the likes of Keith David, Jeanne Tripplehorn, and Scott Shepherd.

Meanwhile, audiences also noticed Peter Dinklage in the series, and are left wondering if the actor is a part of The Lowdown’s cast. The answer is yes. Peter Dinklage plays Wendell, Lee’s former friend in the show.

Is Peter Dinklage in The Lowdown?

Yes, Peter Dinklage is in The Lowdown. He makes a guest appearance as Wendell, Lee’s friend from his past. However, over time, the duo has turned more into frenemies than friends.

Wendell is a drunkard whose life is even more chaotic than Lee’s. As the two reunite, it leads to some humorous situations, but Wendell can also be seen as someone Lee could become in the future if he does not take charge of his life.

Hence, Dinklage has a small appearance in The Lowdown, but has left a lasting impact on the audience due to his scene’s humor and depth. At the same time, the actor’s top-notch performance has made Wendell a memorable character.

The actor is already an acclaimed name in the industry. He is well known for playing Tyrion Lannister in HBO’s massively popular fantasy drama Game of Thrones. Dinklage was recently seen as the villainous Leon Prater in Showtime’s Dexter: Resurrection.

He has also starred in the movies Roofman, Wicked, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, The Toxic Avenger, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
