Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27 Episode 6 recap - The SVU squad struggles to identify an assailant

In Episode 6 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27, influencers are called to a house party. However, the place turns into a crime scene when an influencer gets drugged and assaulted. Even when the SVU Unit is called on time, they find it difficult to identify the assailant, as the witness only saw the victim being dragged into the room.

With DNA found in the drain of the new house, they were successful in rounding out two suspects, but getting them to talk and reveal who was the real culprit became a challenge for the team and Benson.

Episode 6, titled, Under the Influence, of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27, begins with a house party at a new property. Numerous influencers are called to the party to cover it on social media.

At the party, an influencer named Grace notices another female influencer, Skylar, who is heavily drunk. She tries to protect the girl from the danger looming around her and sticks with her. However, she still fails to do so as Skylar gets dragged into a room.

Grace tries to knock on the door by threatening to call the police, but no one listens. She is then escorted out of the party for creating a menace. However, Grace sticks to her words and calls the police, with the SVU team coming right into the party.

But they still couldn't catch the culprit, and no one in the party had actually seen who assaulted Skylar.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27 Episode 6 recap - The SVU team finds two suspects

At first, Grace tells the squad about a man following Skylar around at the party in Episode 6 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27. While the man admits to following Skylar, he also swears about not the one who drugged or assaulted Skylar.

The team initially faces a challenge as the assailant washed the bedsheet and even washed the victim off in the shower. Since the house was a new one, the team decided to extract DNA from the drain of the shower. The DNA that they found matched that of two brothers who owned and conducted the party.

Paul and Nathan Ellis were the sons of popular businessman, Raymond Ellis. Investigating them resulted in the discovery of the duo being involved in a DUI case from which they came out unscathed, and a victim, who was a woman, was dead. As they are brought in by the squad, it gets harder for the team to find out who the assailant was among the two.

At the end of Episode 6 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27, Benson and Carisi approached Paul to learn about the truth. He revealed that he was supposed to lure the women and get them drugged. His brother, Nathan, is the one who assaulted the women and made him watch.

After he decided to testify against his brother, and his father actually killed the DUI girl, he was attacked in prison. He later took a plea deal and testified against the crimes committed by his brother and father, both of whom were sent to prison at the end.
