When Law and The City dropped on July 5, 2025, it didn’t try to grab attention with over-the-top drama. Instead, it stood out by being real, offering a thoughtful, character-focused legal story that shows what life is really like for lawyers, both in and out of court.
Created by real-life lawyer Lee Seung-hyun and directed by Park Seung-woo, the show follows five young attorneys just trying to survive in the high-pressure world of Seoul’s Seocho Judicial Town. At the heart of the story is Ahn Joo-hyung, played by Lee Jong-suk, a sharp, logical lawyer whose steady career suddenly takes an unexpected turn.
By his side is Kang Hee-ji, played by Mun Ka-young, who believes in making a difference by helping one client at a time. The show airs every Saturday and Sunday night on tvN at 9:20 PM KST, with Law and The City Episode 4, arriving today, July 13, 2025.
Thanks to global platforms like Disney+ and Rakuten Viki for keeping international fans updated with the episodes. While we won't dive into heavy spoilers just yet, it’s safe to say that the newly merged firm is about to face both external pressure and internal friction following the merger of two big firms.
