"Left on a high note": Survivor's Sophi reflects on her gameplay, strategy, and overall journey in her exit interview

Survivor Season 49 concluded on December 17, 2025. Fans witnessed and celebrated Savannah winning the competition.

One of the three finalists on the show was Sophi. She went through the Final Tribal Council alongside Savannah and Sage.

In her exit interview with The Exclusive With Sharon Tharp, aired on December 18, 2025, Sophi opened up about the finale. She also shared her thoughts on how things unfolded at the Final Tribal Council.

When sharing her thoughts on Savannah being the winner, Sophi said:

"I feel like we have a deserving winner. And yes, I lost. And there's things I would have changed just like every single person who's ever lost Survivor would have changed something about their game that maybe would have led them to a win. But I feel like I left Survivor...I played strong towards the end, and I feel like I left on a high note. And I'm proud of myself."

In her latest The Exclusive With Sharon Tharp, Survivor star Sophi opened up about how Savannah was a deserving winner. She also noted that there were things she would have changed to win the competition.

However, she noted that with her performance throughout the game, she felt that she left Survivor on a "high note." With that, Sophi confessed that she was proud of herself.

"Like, I truly feel like I did the best that I could with how I started the game and with the knowledge I had and everything. So I got myself as far as I could, and I'm proud of myself. I got the second-best title," added Sophi.

The next question was about the final votes reveal at the Final Tribal Council. The host asked her why Sophi was shocked. The Survivor star noted that she has been "a little pessimistic" about certain things. She also shared that she was really hard on herself.

When she saw Savannah being the person with four immunity wins and the latest fire challenge win, she didn't feel confident:

"She had a lot of ammo, and I just didn't feel confident. I didn't feel I was going to win. And I didn't think I standed a chance, but I was actually surprised like, people came up to me after Final Tribal. Producers, Nate, Stephen, Alex, and that, they were 50/50 on who they were going to vote for."

She added:

"Before Jeff read the votes, Savannah herself turned to me, and she goes, You just won. And I was like, What. So when Jeff read the second vote, I was like, wait a second, did I actually pull this out? Because I did have a really strong final Tribal Council performance."

Sophi also talked about how certain moments from the final Tribal Council didn't make the final cut. However, she noted that she had a “solid” performance in the finale and felt that it was "cool."

When the host asked whether any votes surprised Sophi in the finale, her reaction was:

"Yeah. Alex. What was that? What the hell?"

She said that she respected his vote and talked about how Alex had been a jury member for a while.
