Love Is Blind: UK Season 2 Episode 9 Recap: Engaged couples enjoy their time before making the big decision at the altar

Netflix released Love Is Blind: UK Season 2 Episode 9 on August 27, 2025. The final batch of episodes featured remaining engaged couples moving to the final phase of the experiment.

Engaged couples featured in the final two episodes were:

• Bardha and Jed
• Sarover and Kal
• Megan and Kieran
• Ashleigh and Billy.

Participants went to try out their wedding outfits, where show hosts greeted them. They also revealed that one of the engaged couples, Katisha and Javen, had called off their wedding.

Further in the Love Is Blind: UK episode, girls and boys were sent on their separate bachelor and bachelorette parties. The episode ended on a cliffhanger featuring Bardha and Jed's wedding ceremony.

Episode 9 of the social experiment, titled 'Don't Let Anyone Dim Your Sparkle,' picked up six days before the weddings. While female participants went to try out their wedding outfits, co-host Matt Willis also met them.

On the other hand, Love Is Blind: UK co-host Emma went to see the male participants at their suit trial. Show hosts also revealed that Katisha and Javen won't be joining the rest of the engaged couples. The hosts revealed:

"Javen and Katisha have decided not to continue. And they have both now left the experiment."

Bardha said that it was "really sad" that Katisha was not there with the rest of the brides-to-be. Both male and female participants tried various outfits for their wedding.

Love Is Blind: UK star Bardha confessed how she felt about Jed, saying:

"It is really hard for me to step down from being this alpha female, but he makes me feel softer. I feel heard, wanted, safe in every way. I just feel like wherever he is, is home."

While trying on one of the wedding dresses, Sarover discussed cultural expectations and having found Kal behind a wall. She got emotional, and so did her mom. Fellow female participants also got emotional seeing each other open about how they felt with the wedding a few days away.

At the groom's fitting, Billy's father advised him not to build walls from his past experiences. He told Billy that if he loved her and she loved him, then love would find a way.

Engaged girls, including Sarover, Ashleigh, Bardha, and Megan, spent their time together at their bachelorette party. Boys, Kal, Billy, Jed, and Kieran were also sent on to enjoy their time together before their weddings.

Female participants met their friends, while male participants also met their friends at a different club. When Kal's friend Robbie asked him if he had any concerns over Sarover saying "no" at the altar, he replied:

"Nah. Love is blind, but she's not."

At, girls' bachelorette, Bardha opened up, getting into an argument with Jed. It happened when they went out to dinner, and Jed said he would pay the bill. However, out of habit, Bardha offered her card for the bill. She didn't realize how much it meant for Jed that he would be the one paying it.

Girls enjoyed interacting with a drag queen at the club. They enjoyed dancing and drinks, and clicked pictures with each other. Ashleigh talked to her sisters and recalled her recent chat with Billy. She said:

"Just a few days ago, he's saying the distance is gonna be too much for him."

Billy also talked to Kal and expressed how he felt. He mentioned his job and how Ashleigh would be away for her job. With four days until their weddings, engaged couples left for their home, leaving their partners for a few days.

Further on, Love Is Blind: UK episode, fans witnessed Bardha and Jed's wedding day. After her parents walked her down the aisle, they shared their vows. Episode 9 ended before Badha and Jed's wedding ceremony could be completed.
