Being the Harrigans' fixer, Tom Hardy's Harry Da Souza is always putting out fires in MobLand. He is the man caught between the crossfire of the Harrigans' and Stevenson's animosity, and now that the two parties are at war, things are not looking good for the fixer.
Harry is already in a tight spot, but the last few episodes also put his family under Conrad's roof for 'protection'. After Brendan's shocking death and Seraphina's near-death experience, it is clear that Richie Stevenson is leaving no stone unturned.
He is currently burning with vengeance over his son and wife's deaths and could likely kill any of the Harrigans. With Jan and Gina under Conrad's roof, Harry's family is also directly under Richie's radar as he knows the fixer's value for the family.
With Conrad's increasing paranoia and the major reveal (about the Harrigan rat) in MobLand Episode 8, Harry is heading towards a dangerous path, which might end badly for him.
More on this in our story.
MobLand Episode 8 put Harry in the most dangerous spot yet
While Harrigans and Stevensons are just moments away from a full-blown gang war, MobLand Episode 8 quickly escalates things for Harry.
The latest episode saw Harry making a deal with Richie's henchman, Freddie, who knew who the Harrigan rat was. Since Harry already had leverage over Freddie (pictures of Freddie and Richie's wife together), it took him no time to come clean about the Harrigan rat.
While the reveal was made off-screen, and we still don't know who the mole in the family is, MobLand Episode 8 saw a shocking twist: Harry kills Freddie. While it was unlikely that Harry would kill Freddie since he already had leverage over him, he killed him to protect himself.
Harry knows that Conrad is becoming increasingly paranoid in MobLand about the mole in his family. Now that he knows this top-secret information, Harry is in the most dangerous spot, and Conrad might kill Harry without any concrete proof if he even gets a whiff of it.
The war has put Conrad on edge, and Harry knows it is about time his safety would be compromised. Since he is already so deep in the trenches with the Harrigans, Harry is in a tight spot and there seems no way out for him.
Even if he plans to tap out of the war, Conrad will not let him leave and might even hurt his family. With the added liability of Freddie's murder and the information about the Harrigan rat, it remains to be seen what will become of the show's fixer.
Kat McAllister is also a threat to Harry in MobLand
In addition to the Harrigan-Stevensons' war, MobLand introduced a new threat for Harry in Kat McAllister.
When Jamie was about to execute Seraphina, Harry pulled out one of his old contacts, a mysterious woman named Kat. With just a single phone call, she called off Seraphina's execution and even persuaded Jamie to break off his deal with Richie.
While very little information is provided about Kat, there are theories that she might be related to the CIA and is a very dangerous woman. She even reminds Harry that he now owes her. After realising that the Harrigans are under Kat's debt, Kevin even says:
“[This is] how we all get f*ck*d.”
Kevin's reaction and Kat's power suggest that MobLand has introduced another problem for Harry, which might come for him in the finale. With Harrigans, Richie, and now Kat on his back, Harry's fate seems bleak.
