Hulu's thriller drama series Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 is here! This Nicole Kidman-starring series premiered in August 2021. Owing to its popularity, the series was finally renewed for a second season. The first two episodes dropped on the premiere day, i.e., Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Based on a 2018 novel by Liane Moriarty, the debut season delves into the lives of nine strangers from different walks of society who have signed up for a retreat course in a health and wellness resort headed by Masha Dmitrichenko. Throughout their retreat in Tranquillum House, they unknowingly undergo psychedelic therapy to overcome trauma.

In Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2, Masha leaves her wellness retreat in America to start afresh, and goes to a retreat called Zauberworld in the Alps, led by her friend Helen.

The first two episodes of Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 aired on the premiere day itself. In this season, we see Masha (Nicole Kidman) flee America to visit the wellness retreat in the Alps run by her friend Helena. When she arrives at Zauberworld, the viewers learn that this was not her first visit to the retreat. Previously, Masha visited this retreat after she lost her daughter Tatiana. Helena's drugs were quite useful back then as she could find solace.

At present, Masha seems ready to experiment with the new drugs along with the pharmacologist, Martin. Masha decides to choose the guests for the programme all by herself. Soon, the guests start arriving at the retreat. Among the guests, we see Imogen, Brian, Victoria, Mateo, Tina, Wolfie, Peter Sharpe, and David Sharpe. David arrives a day late, and it seems like Masha knows him as they share a kiss.
