The plot of Nobody Wants This Season 2
The couple spent the first season dealing with troubles arising out of their different backgrounds and beliefs. Meanwhile, Noah’s family and dream career also proved to be an obstacle in their relationship. However, by the end of the season, the two made some sacrifices and chose to be together.
The second season will have some new challenges for the couple as they get used to each other’s routines and daily struggles. Meanwhile, Noah's leaving his dream job for Joanne may have some repercussions. At the same time, Noah’s family has still not accepted Joanne, so it remains to be seen how that dynamic works out.
Another subplot that is expected to be explored further in Nobody Wants This Season 2 is the bond between Sasha and Morgan. Their relationship seems more than just a platonic friendship, but all hell will break loose if they act upon their feelings. Talking about the upcoming season, series creator Erin Foster released an official statement to Tudum and said:
“It’s such an interesting part of every relationship when you now have to see if you can make it work with each other’s friends, day-to-day routines, and how you handle the milestones that come in those first few months together from holidays, birthdays, and what you each think the future should look like.”
