The previous episode depicted the tragic story of Kim Yeong-suk, a custodian at an elite University where Mu-jin's mother also works. What happened in Oh My Ghost Clients Episode 5?
In episode 5 of Oh My Ghost Clients, the trio took over the case of Yeong-suk, Mu-jin’s mom’s co-worker. She had died of a heart attack while studying for the Job Knowledge test. Mu-jin reveals to Hui-joo and Gyeon-u that the University is conducting a difficult test to humiliate the custodians so that they quit their own jobs, and they don’t have to fire them. This will save them from public humiliation.
They talk to several custodians to find out about their issues. Mu-jin informs them about their right not to take the tests. However, they don’t want to cause any problems and just want to do their jobs. But after Mu-jin’s mother talks to them about them being invisible to others in the University and also talks about how they do deserve respect for their work.
This encourages her co-workers, and they decide not to appear for the difficult Job Knowledge tests. They then protest in front of the University, causing the police to come and take Mu-jin with them, as he was the one who conducted the protest.
What to expect in Oh My Ghost Clients Episode 6?
As the preview suggests, episode 6 of Oh My Ghost Clients will see the custodians ready to fight back against the wrongdoings that they have been suffering from in their job at the University. The preview also suggests that the University does not agree with the custodians’ demands.
Mu-jin will help them form a union to protect their rights at their jobs, and Yeong-suk will finally talk to Mu–jin and tell her own story. Moreover, Gyeon-u and Hui-ju will also do their best to make the University’s corruption against the custodians go viral by recording everything that goes on in the exam hall and confronting them about all of it.
