1) What will become of Julia and Henry?

The Season 1 finale concluded on a major cliffhanger, where Julia and Henry were pondering over their options. Julia was not ready to trust Henry's theory of genetics and asked him to pass through the stones alone. As Simon's wife, she has the privilege of protection that Henry doesn't. However, in the final moments, Henry takes Julia's hands and they are about to touch the stones when the screen cuts to black.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 2 has Julia and Henry's fate riding on its back and should reveal what became of the lovers. Were they able to escape together, tragically part again or captured by Arch Bug?

2) What do the fiery crosses mean for Brian and Ellen's future?

Brian and Ellen finally escaped from Castle Leoch and are together in the Season 1 finale but the lovers are confronted with a political call in the show's final moments. Brian realized that the Fiery crosses are up, signalling all clansmen to report to their laird and gear up for the upcoming Jacobite rising.

Considering that Brian has no land or money to his name, he will need his father's support for now. However, Simon Fraser is a sworn enemy of Clan MacKenzie and will likely not accept Ellen as his daughter-in-law.
