What happened in Episode 6 of Queen Mantis?
In Episode 6 of Queen Mantis, the copycat killer calls Yi-shin to let her know about how he will kill his next victim. Through the call, they learn that the killer was in a hotel where the team goes to capture him, while Yi-shin stalls the killer.
However, they fail to catch the killer due to the chaos caused in the hotel after Na-hee pulls the fire alarm. Later, while talking to Yi-shin, the mother-son duo discovers that the killer might have been present when she killed her fourth victim. She reminds him of the child named Yeong-jung, who always carried a dead animal with him. He was the son of Yi-shin's fourth victim, who abused his son and kept him tied up.
Su-yeol deduces that Yeong-jung might be the potential killer after meeting the latter's mother, and also suggests that Yeong-jung might have changed his gender now. While Su-yeol finds the nurse who has met Yeong-jung, the team learns that him being Yi-shin's son. Na-hee asks him to leave the team as he still lied to them even after being given a chance to come clean to them.
In the final episodes of Queen Mantis, it will be shown if the homicide team successfully catches the killer, and whether it has any link with Su-yeol's wife, Jung-yeon. Additionally, the episodes might also reveal the reason behind Yi-shin's sudden confession about the murders she had committed 23 years ago.
