Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 8 recap: Harry enjoys getting back his powers and embracing his real identity

With Harry getting back his powers in the previous episode, Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 8, titled, Mine Town, showcases him rejoicing and having the best time of his life, while Kate and Ben try to come to terms with all that has happened.

However, there’s only one issue clouding his happiness, and that is Asta (Sara Tomko) thinking about leaving Patience altogether. The scene is one of the most emotional in the episode, highlighting both extremes of Harry’s emotions and depicting the compassion he has developed living among humans.

Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 8: Liv is the new target of Mantid

Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 8’s jaw-dropping moment has to be the Mantid shapeshifting into Liv, which is one of the most shocking developments and might become a bigger and more emotional threat in the upcoming finale of Season 4.

It was not Jules, who was earlier suspected, but Liv who turned out to be the Mantid’s next target. While Liv is no longer Liv, the residents of Patience—including Mike—have no idea about it yet. This sets up the premise for a dramatic and intense upcoming event.

Aside from the shocking revelations, the episode also reveals Sahar and Max’s plan to fight back against the alien invasion with their newly built taser. Further, Kate and Ben finally have their baby, with whom D’Arcy tries to bond—a step in the direction of her healing.

With almost everyone now knowing about the aliens in Patience, Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 8 gives us some heartfelt, funny, and raw emotional moments from our favorite characters, along with many hints about the upcoming outcome when the humans defend themselves against the extraterrestrial threats that have been looming around the town.
