What happened in Rick and Morty Season 8 Episode 6?

Season 8 Episode 6 focused on Beth and Space Beth's adventures, where they are frustrated with their lives. While Beth has duty calls in the middle of the night as a horse surgeon, Space Beth's life as an intergalactic bounty hunter/rebel is also not as exciting as others think.
While both Beths are drinking wine at their place, they ponder their childhood days, and Space Beth suggests de-aging in a specialized transformation machine in her spaceship. Both Beths turn to their 10-year-old self, but instead of enjoying their childhood, they realise that their childhood versions are naughty and create mayhem.
After they mutilate their neighbour Gene, Rick arrives on the scene to help him take control of the situation, which leads to a serious confrontation between him and his daughters. After much chaos and confusion, the three reconcile, following which they enjoy the sunset from their tree house.
