Just two more episodes, and the award-winning Korean thriller S Line will conclude on Wavve. What’s even more exciting is that the finale isn’t too far now. The upcoming episodes tomorrow will finally reveal the mystery behind those red lines.
While it’s clear that they expose how many times a person slept with another, there’s more to it. Whoever gets the ability to see those lines ends up miserable, and Seon-a, played by Lee Eum-saem (whom fans are loving in Bitch X Rich Season 2), is one of those unfortunate people.
She is among the key characters in the drama and the niece of the titular detective Han Ji-wook. Soon after getting her hands on those glasses, Seon-a was able to learn about everyone’s hidden desires, including her uncle.
She even went as far as blackmailing her teacher, but things took a dark turn when she was pushed off the roof. This shocking moment left many viewers asking: Is Seon-a dead? As of S Line Episode 4, she’s still alive, but barely, and in critical condition at the hospital.
The teacher responsible for the crime is also dead, and now Ji-wook is trying to find the truth. He believes it wasn’t a suicide, and someone is definitely behind her condition.

Who is Seon-a? What happened to her in S Line? Explored
Kang Seon-a plays a major role in S Line. She is introduced as a high school student at Bangju High. However, her life is far from ordinary, as she’s the niece of the lead detective and faces bullying from a group led by her batchmate, Kim Hye-young.
Due to the constant struggle, Seon-a feels isolated and uninterested in enjoying life. Her life soon takes a darker turn when she gets her hands on a pair of special glasses that reveal people’s sexual connections through glowing red lines.
Instead of using them responsibly, she lets her pain guide her. Fueled by trauma and rage, she turns the glasses into a weapon. She plans to expose those who hurt her, unaware of how dangerous the glasses really are.
By the end of S Line Episode 2, Seon-a’s story reaches a chilling climax. She falls from the rooftop of her school under mysterious circumstances, and it’s strongly implied that she was pushed. This moment becomes a turning point in the series, not just for the plot but for her uncle, Han Ji-wook, who is devastated by what happened.
He rushes to the hospital only to find out that Seon-a is critically injured. Luckily, she survives, but her condition hasn’t improved either. Hyun-heup had already warned her before the accident, but Seon-a brushed off her concern.
She even told Seon-a’s uncle that “no one’s an exception” when it comes to those dangerous glasses. They keep ruining lives and misleading people who initially believe their lives have gotten better.

Will Seon-a survive? Hyun-heup's vision hints at a tragic fate

As mentioned before, Seon-a is alive in S Line so far, but the final two episodes will reveal her fate. One of the notable moments in the current episode was Hyun-heup’s vision of Seon-a’s death.
She saw the red line disappear from Seon-a’s head, which suggests that the person is dead. It’s important for her to live and gain consciousness back, as Seon-a is the only one who knows how she fell.
Meanwhile, Ji-wook is determined to track down the person linked to Seon-a by the red line. Finding him could bring crucial clues—or even a breakthrough—in solving the case by the end of S Line.
So, make sure to watch the finale, arriving July 25, 2025, on Wavve.
