Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 2 Recap: Janelle talks to Meri, while Kody shares his thoughts about moving with Robyn

Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 2 aired on October 5, 2025. The latest episode, titled, Welcome to Speed Dating, featured a video chat between Meri and Janelle.

Kody talked to Robyn about signing the property papers and giving an equal share to Meri and Janelle. The episode also featured Christine opening up about Mykelti's move.

During Meri and Janelle's conversation, the former questioned why Kody was not talking to her. She also asked Jenelle if he was scared of her being "mean" to him.

Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 2 Recap: Kody talks about giving an equal share of property to Janelle and Meri, Christine gets emotional over Mykelt's move

Recently released Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 2 featured a conversation between Meri and Janelle. In her confession, Janelle recalled Kody's recent phone call. He told her about the possibility of keeping all of their names in the title of the property in question.

"I was like, is the sky falling? I don't know," confessed Janelle.

She then talked to Meri via video chat to share the same news. She also noted that she didn't trust that Kody was going to move forward with what he had told her. Janelle told Meri about talking to her lawyer and following up on Kody's discussion about putting all four's names in the property papers.

Meri responded that she was glad that Kody had responded to her. Janelle recalled Kody telling him to talk to Meri.

"Why is he afraid to talk to me?" asked Meri.

Janelle said she didn't know anything about it.

Further in the episode, Christine opened up about her daughter, Mykelti. She recalled her and Tony telling her about moving to North Carolina. Mykelti confessed that every time she told her mom about moving, she felt as if she was breaking her heart "a little bit more."

"She's really sad. She's really heartbroken," added Mykelti.

Sister Wives' star Christine got emotional while talking about accompanying Mykelti and her family while they moved away.

Elsewhere in the episode, Kody Brown talked about wanting to pay "fair share" to Meri and Janelle from the property.

"If we exit this relationship with the self-guided path, then we're all free to go on and do something else," confessed Kody.

He showed Robyn the papers and told her how they only needed to sign and get everything done. He told her how signing would make each of them 25% owner of the land.

Sister Wives star told Robyn that he "really" wanted to move away from there. He also told her that the house they lived in was a "source" of a lot of pain for him.

"As much as I love this house, the idea of a new start is really enticing me," he confessed.

Kody told Robyn that the house had become "kind of a lonely place" for him. Four of the five years they had lived in that house had been filled with struggle. He also talked about his "triple divorce" that happened in the span of three years.

Robyn asked him whether he had time to sit down and talk about all those things. He agreed, and the two sat down to talk more.

Kody told Robyn that he wanted the two of them to "start over again."
