"So much venom and betrayal": Sister Wives' Kody looks back on his treatment of his ex-wives and the damage it caused

TLC's Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 10 featured a conversation between Kody and Robyn.

The two were out enjoying their meal while Kody talked about his ex-wives. He told Robyn about wanting to apologize to them. She was surprised to hear that from Kody.

Further, Kody mentioned the tension between him and his ex-wives when they met recently for the Coyote Pass meeting. Later, in his private confession, the Sister Wives star shared more about his idea of apology:

"We finally got it done. We meet with them, and it's...just...awkward. I wasn't getting along with ex-wives. I had had so much venom and betrayal toward them. As I look back on it, the only part that I control is my behavior and my own actions, and I'm like, what if I had done that better? Then we wouldn't have all this."

Sister Wives Season 20: Kody opens up to Robyn about his ex-wives and his behavior with them

The latest Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 10 saw Kody Brown getting candid about his ex-wives. While talking to Robyn, Kody shared a recent idea he had. He noted that after the Coyote Pass meeting, he felt like having a traumatic response. It made him feel manipulated and unsafe.

"Everything that went down with trying to sell Coyote Pass, sort of like having a traumatic response to what's felt like still being a connection to these exes that made me feel manipulated and unsafe," shared Kody.

He further mentioned that since the Coyote Pass meeting, he felt disappointment. Kody has talked about feeling ashamed since then.

A clip from the previous episode, featuring Kody, Robyn, Janelle, and Meri, was played. Kody recalled how he and Robyn did not talk to Janelle or Meri. He mentioned that he could have done better.

Sister Wives star also recalled Robyn wanting him to start the therapy.

"You know, I just started getting this sort of vibe that I need to go....apologize. Just with what I need to own about breakups, about how things happened with the family."

Kody mentioned that he wanted to set his ex-wives "free" so that they could stop thinking and talking about him. Surprised to hear that, Robyn asked how he would do that. Kody responded that he would go and apologize to them.

Later, in her private confessional, Sister Wives star Robyn reacted to Kody's apology conversation.

"I was kinda like sort of shocked. I was trying too hard to not give him reactions 'coz I was just like...I was processing it. He says a lot of things that may not even happen," confessed Robyn.

Kody told Robyn that he wanted to apologize for being angry. He was referring to the time when his ex-wives brought up the idea of their divorce.
