Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 Need I Say Door, finally featured one of the DCU's most exciting characters, Sasha Bordeaux. Played by actress Sol Rodríguez, Sasha is introduced this season as an A.R.G.U.S. agent who is surveilling Christopher Smith/Peacemaker under Rick Flag Sr.'s orders. But she appeared very little in the previous three episodes.

Therefore, fans were happy to see more of her in the fourth episode of the second season and excited for more scenes featuring Bordeaux in the upcoming episodes of Peacemaker Season 2. In the episode, Sasha's role is mostly focused on trying to open the QUC door in Chris's house.

Sasha Bordeaux's role in Peacemaker Season 2 explained:

As mentioned earlier, Sasha's role in the first three episodes of Peacemaker Season 2 was small. But her screen time in the fourth episode was comparatively larger, as she, Langston Fleury, John Economos, and other A.R.G.U.S. agents raid Chris's house to hack his QUC door. But as soon as the QUC door is opened, she is shocked to see that it is just a normal closet.

This episode explains the QUC/quantum unfolding chamber technology. The episode opens with a flashback showing the DCU Smith family. Auggie shoots someone whom he believes to be a deer in his two sons' company. But the creature Auggie killed is an alien with a metal case, with the inter-dimensional door behind it. Auggie steals the case, which turns out to be the key for using the QUC.

Therefore, by the time the A.R.G.U.S. team managed to successfully open the portal inside his home, Chris had closed it and opened the same at the family's hunting cabin. This means that the DCU's QUC technology is portable as the key is just a metal case. James Gunn teased the role of the QUC in an Entertainment Weekly interview from May this year:

"You've seen what we call the QUC, the Quantum Unfolding Chamber, in the first season of Peacemaker, and we see more about that technology in Superman. The QUC is the center of the story in Peacemaker season 2... We see a lot of different characters from Superman in the [season], [including] Isabela and Nathan and Sean, and then we see a bunch of other characters later on in the season from other parts of the DCU and from Superman. There might even be one really, really, really big cameo near the end of the show."

But we are sure to get more of Sasha in the upcoming four episodes as her appearance sets up an iconic DC character.

Sasha's presence may hint that the DCU Batman is nearby:

Sasha Bordeaux made her debut in the DC comics lore in the 2000s as a supporting character of Batman. She is first introduced as Bruce Wayne's personal security by Lucius Fox. While she initially had trouble protecting Bruce, as he frequently slipped to suit up as his vigilante alter-ego, she figured the billionaire's secret out soon enough.

After that, Bruce trained her and went on to patrol the streets of Gotham together for a while. But, much like the first Robin Richard "Dick" Grayson, she also left Bruce, and nowadays she is mostly associated with the Task Force X's other team, Checkmate.

When ScreenRant reporter Liam Crowley asked if Peacemaker Season 2's version of Sasha already shares her history with the DCU Batman, Sol Rodriguez responded:

"Oh my God. So I never spoke about that with James, but I would like to think that she knows, and that’s part of her recent past, but I never really discussed it with James. I hope that, crossing my fingers, in the future, he writes something about that and I can bring that to life with Batman. I would love that. It would be such a dream. That’d be really cool, but I read all about it online and as much as I could, and I love that. So bada**."

James Gunn, who was also there in the same interview, said this when asked about Sasha Bordeaux's connection with Batman:

"I think we’ll, we’ll have to see where it goes. I mean, I think we’ll have to see with what we’re doing with Batman and figuring it out. So obviously we know some basics about where it’s going with Batman, but we’re also figuring some things out. So everything’s fluid."

Thus, many fans believe that Lucius Fox might appear in one of the last three episodes of Peacemaker Season 2. Or at least, she may leave A.R.G.U.S. and join Wayne Enterprises.
