Bruno's, located in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, saw Gordon Ramsay's arrival in the Fox show's latest episode. Episode 10 saw the celebrity chef going undercover at the family-style diner.
After uncovering multiple issues, including cross-contamination, hygiene, dirt, and more, he went to confront the staff members. Gordon Ramsay pointed out that they were using the same spatula for vegetarian and meat foods. He also called out the staff members and the owner for how they were running the diner.
Gordon Ramsay said the diner was a "sorry state of affairs." Listening to his sharing his views, the restaurant owner's son, Nick, said that it was his opinion.
"I mean, if you wanna...if you wanna put us down, that's okay," added Nick.
Nick's reaction sparked an argument between the two. As Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service host continued, Nick continued to share his side.
Seeing the overlap in their conversation, the celebrity chef told Nick:
"No, but let me...let me just tell you some home truths first before anyone puts you down. Listen carefully..."
However, as Nick continued, he cut the chef's conversation and said he was also speaking.
"Listen f*cking carefully," Gordon continued.
In his private confessional, Nick said it was really hard to listen to Gordon Ramsay. He referred to the confrontational argument as "going after" his dad. Nick said it hurt him because his dad was his hero.
Voicing the hygiene concerns in the kitchen, Gordon showed the spatulas that were in use. He mentioned the usage of the same spatula for cooking and also to scrape the sides.
"These spatulas have been in use for the last two hours. We flip the chicken. We scrape down, then we flip eggplant parm the same place that you're literally cooking the Philly cheesesteak."
Further in the episode, Gordon continued to confront the staff. He added he had never seen any place running in such a disorganized manner.
