The recently aired Season 4 of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test featured an unexpected elimination, as Jussie Smollett was sent home. After the simulated city challenge, participants returned to the base camp, where Jussie couldn't stop coughing.
Later in the barracks, he was still coughing and couldn't stop. Soon, everyone saw how much pain he was in. As a result, the staff evaluated him and sent him to the medical team. After his check-up, it was revealed that he had a severe lung inflammation. The cause might be some type of allergy from the desert.
Ultimately, Jussie Smollett was sent for further treatment. As a result, his journey on "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" Season 4 ended. He was advised to get the treatment by the team of doctors.
When the DS arrived to get Jussie's armband, which would mean his elimination, he confessed to the cameras:
"There's a fight in me. I know that now more than any other time in my life. There have been many opportunities in my life to quit on things, on myself, and I don't quit easily."
