Fox aired Special Forces: World's Toughest Test Season 4 Episode 4 on October 16, 2025. The latest episode featured multiple challenges, including a height challenge, a tunnel challenge, and more.

After Johnny Manziel couldn't complete the second task, he decided to self-eliminate himself. It happened after he couldn't find his way out of the tunnel. As a result, his team struggled to finish. Johnny confessed to the cameras that his biggest struggle was to give up, at times.

Before Johnny's self-elimination in the fourth episode, there were three participants who were sent home.

This includes:

Special Forces: World's Toughest Test Season 4 Episode 4: An unexpected self-elimination

The latest Special Forces: World's Toughest Test Season 4 Episode 4 featured challenging tasks. It included a height challenge where participants had to rappel down the 300-feet height.

There was also a task where contestants went through a tunnel, and they had to find specified areas. It was the infiltration task. For that, participants were divided into two teams.

Both teams had to destroy targeted areas with grenades. They had to crawl through underground tunnels filled with dirt and water. However, one of the recruits, Johnny Manziel, was unable to find his way out of the tunnels. It resulted in his team struggling to get out of there. They hit a dead end, which resulted in Johnny getting into a panicky situation.

He confessed to the cameras regarding the struggles he and his teammates faced.

"My biggest struggles within myself is just giving up at times. You know, losing that battle mentally," confessed Johnny Manziel.

Special Forces: World's Toughest Test star added that it was a "weakness" for him. The reason was because, he had to live with the decisions and actions he had made, and there was no going back.

"And that's been something that's been a weakness for me, for sure. You have to live with the decisions and the actions that you've made, and there's no going back and changing things now," he added.

After his team failed the task, Johnny decided to leave the competition. He notified the DS and handed over his armband.

After Johnny's self-elimination, the remaining contestants on Special Forces: World's Toughest Test Season 4 were:

Apart from Johnny Manziel, there was another contestant who also faced difficulties in the latest episode. It was Andrew East. He noted that the challenge for him felt a roller coaster.

Later in conversation with DS, he shared that he had disappointed himself with his performance. Despite DS telling Andrew he should feel proud, he couldn't. Mark "Billy" Billingham told him he seemed as if he was "Mr. Self-doubt," while Jason "Foxy" Fox told him not to overthink.
