Netflix offered an exclusive peek inside the VIP room set for Squid Game Season 3, teasing the return of the VIPs in the show's final chapter on Netflix on June 27, 2025.

In a recently released video, actor Wi Ha-joon (Hwang Jun-ho) takes the audience inside the beautiful VIP room set, an important location in the upcoming chapter.

While Jun-ho failed to locate the island in Season 2, the actor teased in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that his character will likely confront The Front Man (his brother) in the final chapter:

“So… whether the two brothers will reunite in season three is something that you should wait to find out. But, if there was to be such a reunion, then Hwang Jun-ho would surely go through a lot of indescribable emotions such as sadness, anger and also happiness.''

Everyone is waiting for Jun-ho to reunite with his brother and put an end to the games in Squid Game Season 3 after he miserably failed at this task in Season 2.

However, in a newly released video on Netflix's YouTube channel, actor Wi Ha-joon takes fans on a behind-the-scenes peek into Season 3's VIP set and describes it as:

''An intimate space in the middle of a jungle.''

The VIPs were introduced in Season 1 and were among the richest and most elite individuals in Korea, donning animal masks. They somehow controlled the game by betting on their favorite players.

While they were largely absent from Season 2 because The Front Man disguised himself as one of the players in the games, director Hwang Dong-hyuk has teased that the VIPs will be back in Squid Game Season 3.

Given the sneak peek in the VIP room set, it appears that the VIPs will play a significant role in the final chapter. Talking about the set, Ha-joon also described the intricate artwork and wallpaper of the VIP room, centered around the theme of “poisonous jungle plants.”

The artwork symbolizes the power dynamics in the game and how VIPs are the ones ruling the scene in Squid Game Season 3.

In addition to the VIPs' role in the final chapter, fans are also excited to see whether Jun-ho will finally uncover the island and put an end to the games. At the end of the video, Ha-joon teased about his character:

"We look forward to your love and support for the new season of 'Squid Game'. I hope you're also excited for Detective Jun-ho, who works secretly to uncover the game."

What can you expect in Squid Game Season 3?

Squid Game Season 3 will mark the final chapter of Netflix's breakthrough thriller series, which has now become a global phenomenon.

In Season 2, while Jun-ho teamed up with Captain Park to find the island, Gi-hun re-entered the game as Player 456. While he tried his best to warn the players about the consequences of this deadly game, players continued to play even when given a choice.

Season 2 ended on a shocking cliffhanger, where Gi-hun led the remaining players in a player revolt, which resulted in his friend Jung-bae's death at the hands of the Front Man.

Squid Game Season 3 will return with the deadly games once again, where Gi-hun will finally confront the Front Man in a showdown.
