Apple TV+ recently released a new sports comedy series, Stick, which offers both an emotional story and light-hearted moments. At the heart of the show is Pryce Cahill, a former golf champion known for his impressive skills and achievements in the game.

However, Pryce's life took a dark turn when he lost his child, followed by a divorce. This tragedy leads to his ultimate downfall in the golf world, and now Pryce has to start over. He started doing odd jobs and now sells golf clubs to make money.

But when he crossed paths with a teenager named Santiago "Santi" Wheeler, Pryce found a way to return to the game and help Santi by being his coach. While it sounds easy, training a golf prodigy isn't an easy task, especially when you have almost no experience in coaching.

This was highlighted in the latest episode 3, where Santi decided to step away from Pryce when he started treating him like his abusive father. It was Zero who gave Santi hope and might eventually help Pryce understand that he needs to change his way.

The first three episodes are already out, with Stick Episode 4 scheduled to come out on June 11, 2025. It will continue to shed light on Santi and Pryce's journey as their bond now seems to be getting weakened.

The third episode of Stick kicks off with Mittsy irritated by the arrival of Elena, Santi's protective mother. Mittsy expresses his disappointment that Pryce didn't tell him that Elena also has a dog who will now accompany them in the RV.

Elena and Mittsy's interactions lead to humorous moments as the two find it hard to get along. None of them seems to like each other, and they often end up arguing over even small things.

Meanwhile, Pryce wants Santi to win the gold tournament and train him well. Santi was also excited for the game until Pryce unleashed his controlling side while teaching Santi how to play the game.

Thanks to the newly introduced character, Zero, who encouraged Santi to believe in himself rather than strictly following what Pryce tells him. As expected, Santi felt good and won the game.

When Pryce went to apologise to him, Santi rejected it and went away with Zero. Now, there's one more intriguing character in Stick, whom fans will get to know more in the upcoming episode.

Things have gotten bitter between Santi and Pryce since the golfer behaved intently with the young men. At the same time, Santi feels motivated when he's around Zero, and this might play a big role in Stick Episode 4.

The episode synopsis reads:

"Pryce does everything he can to break through to Santi and get back to training. Zero is presented with an unexpected offer."

As seen at the end of Episode 3, Santi doesn't accept Pryce's apology, as it doesn't feel like it is coming from his heart. While Pryce said he's sorry, he also mentioned being "competitive," which might have further fueled Santi's anger towards him.
