Netflix's latest K-drama, Tastefully Yours, returned to our screens on May 26, 2025, with Episode 6 titled 'Jungjae Manual.' Now that Beom-woo has made his feelings known to Yeon-joo, he's waiting for her to love him back.
However, things have already been messed up following the arrival of Le Murir's CEO Jeon-min, who also happens to be Yeon-joo's ex-boyfriend. The two dated for almost three years, and Jeon-min has returned to take her back to Sapporo.
Tastefully Yours Episode 6 begins with the same conversation between Yeon-joo and Beom-woo after their first date. After revealing her past, Yeon-joo also tells him that Jeon-min wants her back at the French restaurant.
When asked if she would go, Yeon-joo says, "Why would I go? Our restaurant's doing so well," which relieves Beom-woo, who has been restless since Jeon-min stepped into their lives.
Later that night, Beom-woo cannot stop thinking about their current situation, while Yeon-joo gets a call from Jeon-min. He tells her that Chef Tatsuo is very ill and that this might be her last time to see him.
The next morning, Myeon-suk and Chun-seong are eagerly waiting for Beom-woo to come. It looks like something huge is about to go down. So, what really happened?

Tastefully Yours Episode 6 recap: Yeon-joo jets off to Sapporo with Jeon-min
In Episode 6 of Tastefully Yours, Myeong-suk and Chun-seong are shocked to learn that Yeon-joo has left for Sapporo on such short notice. When Beom-woo arrives at Jungjae, he's also startled to learn that the chef has actually departed along with Jeon-min.
Yeon-joo left behind a note, in which she mentioned that something urgent has come up, so she needs the three to take over Junjae for some time. She apologized for the short note and even wrote to Beom-woo that he must wait until she contacts him.
Yeon-joo ends her note with a simple drawing of an earthenware pot — a quiet clue that she has hidden something inside one of them. Once they begin the search, Chun-seong uncovers what seems to be a detailed guidebook, packed with Yeon-joo’s handwritten notes.
Turns out, it's the 'Jungjae Manual,' Yeon-jo has left behind for her team to refer to. She has mentioned almost every rule. From Beom-woo being banned from smoking near the restaurant to asking Chun-seong to always wash his hands after being in the garden.
As they continue reading the manual, Chun-seong asks how many more are there. Surprisingly, there are several pages in the manual that end with rule no. 135, to which Myeon-suk says, "This means she doesn't trust her."

Chaos takes over at Jungjae and Jeon-min collaborates with La Lecel in Tastefully Yours Episode 6

Now that Yeon-joo has jet off to Saporro, Beom-woo and the rest will have to take care of the restaurant. They promise to do their best and prove to Yeon-joo that they can handle the new kitchen without her.
With Myeong-suk as a temporary chef for the restaurant, Beom-woo and Chun-seong are determined to make sure every customer leaves happy. But things quickly go off track when a customer complains about undercooked food and storms out.
From there, the whole day starts unraveling as Myeong-suk, Beom-woo, and Chun-seong struggle to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Meanwhile, at Hansang Food Field, Sun-woo is wrapping up a meeting and sees Chef Jang Yeong-hye storming into his office.
Yeong-hye confronts Sun-woo for replacing her with another head chef at La Lecel and eventually decides to return to Motto (Beom-woo's restaurant). Later in the Tastefully Yours episode, the chef tries to find out who her replacement is.
Turns out, it's none other than Jeon-min, the CEO and head chef of Le Murir. Yeon-hye calls Beom-woo and breaks the news. While she's unaware of what's happening at Jungjae and between him and Yeon-joo, Beom-woo is shocked to learn that Jeon-min will compete against his restaurant.
Yeon-joo is broken to see Chef Tatsuo's condition in Tastefully Yours Episode 6
While Beom-woo and the two are looking after Jungjae and preventing his secretary from stealing the recipes, Yeon-joo visits Chef Tatsuo at the hospital. His condition is poor, and he doesn't even remember Yeon-joo because of his illness.
Jeon-min tells Yeon-joo that the chef has not eaten for almost two days and that it would be great if she prepares food for him, as Chef Tatsuo used to love her food. Later in the Tastefully Yours episode, Jeon-min takes Yeon-joo to the Saporro market.
While he's trying to convince Yeon-jo to come back and leave Jungjae, Beom-woo shows up and asks how dare he call their restaurant a "rundown". Yeon-joo is surprised to see him in Japan, and now Beom-woo won't leave her alone with Jeon-min.
As the episode concludes, Yeon-joo, Beom-woo, and Jeon-min head out for dinner. The two keep on clashing over things on the way, and while Yeon-joo excuses herself to use the restroom, Jeon-min again brings up the past.
He asks Beom-woo that does he even knows why the restaurant is named Jungjae. He reveals that it was the name he and Yeon-joo decided for their restaurant. Beom-woo brushes off Jeon-min's concerns and says that it's in the past.
Beom-woo then receives the call from Chef Yeong-hye in the Tastefully Yours episode, as she tells him about the Le Murir head chef partnering with La Lecel. Beom-woo is furious to learn how far his brother is going.
But what hits him the hardest is seeing Yeon-joo with Jeo-min, reliving old memories and laughing in a way she never has with him. It’s a moment that stings more than he expected.
So, will Yeon-joo find out the truth about Beom-woo and reject his feelings? Don't forget to catch up with the upcoming episode of Tastefully Yours, arriving June 2, 2025.
