Tempest: Disney+ finally unveiled the release date for its highly anticipated K-drama
While Netflix had long entered the K-drama market with titles like Business Proposal, All of Us Are Dead, and the recently released Squid Game and Mercy for None, 2025 marked Disney+'s debut in the race.
The platform saw high streaming numbers with Yoon Jong-bin's mystery crime thriller series Nine Puzzles, which became the most-watched Korean title on the platform. Disney+ is all set to recreate that K-drama magic with Tempest, a much-anticipated K-drama for the latter half of 2025.
After much hype, Tempest will finally release with a two-episode premiere internationally on Disney+ on September 10, 2025. US fans will be able to catch the K-drama on Hulu.
After the initial two-episode premiere, the series will drop weekly episodes and will conclude with a two-part finale on October 1, 2025. The show will have a total of 9 episodes.
The K-drama is being positioned as an exciting watch that will effortlessly blend elements of political and crime thrillers.
