Hulu+ Disney has finally unveiled the official trailer for Tempest, one of the most anticipated political K-dramas of 2025.

Following its success with Nine Puzzles, the most-watched K-drama on the platform, Disney+ is all set to conquer the K-drama domain with its upcoming high-stakes political and crime thriller, slated for a September 10 release.

Co-directed by Queen of Tears showrunner Kim Hee-won and the veteran action choreographer Heo Myung-haeng, the screenplay for the upcoming K-drama is written by Decision to Leave screenwriter Jeong Seo-kyeong.

Tempest follows Seo Mun-ju, the US ambassador, whose husband (a presidential candidate) is assassinated in front of her. This tragedy sets the stage for a sweeping mystery as Seo Mun-ju sets out on a journey to find her husband's killer and uncover deeply buried state secrets in the process.
