K-drama enthusiasts cannot stop talking about the crackling chemistry between Yoona and Lee Chae-min in Bon Appétit, Your Majesty. Only two episodes are out, and the show has reached heights on Netflix around the globe.

"My dearly beloved, if you were to read this someday, may you come back to my side?" The angst is going to be so good, and I’m here for it!!

Interestingly, he wasn't the first choice to play the lead role in this tvN drama. Queen of Tears star Park Sung-hoon was finalized, but he had to leave due to controversy during the Squid Game Season 2 release.

The drama kicked off with Yoona's Yeon Ji-young winning the biggest French cooking competition and becoming the head chef of a Michelin three-star restaurant. However, something strange happened while she was traveling in a plane during a solar eclipse.

Ji-young read a few lines from an ancient cookbook of the Joseon era, and ended up in the same dynasty. There, she met King Lee-heon, but since Ji-young thought it was a dream, she didn't believe him. In fact, Ji-young beat up the King and tied him.

By the end of Episode 1, Ji-young realized that time-travel actually happened, and now she's in the past. The King has taken her to the palace and will make Ji-young the head chef. She's ordered to make a new dish every day, failing to which can lead to her death.

The K-drama has perfectly blended comedic moments and an engaging story so far. The King might eventually fall in love with her, and the book Ji-young read might be the one he wrote for her to come back.
