What happens in The Chair Company Episode 1?

However, his world starts to collapse after a humiliating moment at work. During an important presentation, Ron’s chair breaks, which sends him tumbling to the floor in front of his colleagues. In the process, he accidentally looks up a coworker’s skirt. Although Ron tries to laugh it off, the incident affects him deeply.

When he later examines the broken chair, he discovers it was made by a company called Tecca. His frustration turns into obsession as he tries to contact the company, but only meets with dead ends as he gets invalid emails and vague responses. His obsession then begins to affect his work and his relationships at home.

Ron’s attempts to prove the chair is dangerous push him toward absurdity. Meanwhile, he faces HR trouble over the skirt incident. Determined to confront Tecca, Ron visits their listed office but finds it abandoned and empty. Just as he decides to drop his investigation, a mysterious man warns him to stop digging into the company’s secrets and attacks him.

The series stars Tim Robinson as William Ronald Trosper, along with Sophia Lillis as Natalie Trosper, Lake Bell as Barb Trosper, Joseph Tudisco as Mike Santini, Will Price as Seth Trosper, Jim Downey as Douglas, and Lou Diamond Phillips as Jeff Levjman.
