Shudder's found footage horror series The Creep Tapes Season 2 is back with another gritty episode.

This time it stars Robert Longstreet alongside Mark Duplass as Peachfuzz. Episode 3 of The Creep Tapes Season 2, titled Mark begins with a man who finds himself chained in a dingy basement with a few bodies covered with blankets. He also has a GoPro attached to his head through which we get footage of the eerie surroundings. Quite a scary environment to be in, isn't it? So how did he get there? Why is he chained up?

Turns out, he isn't alone in the room; there's Peachfuzz, too, and the way he appears is quite scary. Previously in The Creep Tapes Season 2, we saw how Peachfuzz mercilessly made his copycat kill himself, and then, in the second episode, trapped a film school graduate and killed two cops. The eeriest part, though, is how he nonchalantly leaves the crime scene as if nothing happened.

Here's what happened in The Creep Tapes Season 2 Episode 3.

Mark wakes up and finds that he's in a dingy room with his legs chained up. He proceeds to check the room and finds a dusty bathtub and two bodies wrapped in a blanket. Just when he's about to uncover one, he hears a groan. As he tries to locate the sound, Peachfuzz appears from beneath the blanket, and obviously, they start yelling. Mark tries to unlock the door, but it doesn't open. Peachfuzz, on the other hand, remains calm and composed. He tries to manipulate Mark as a husky voice interrupts their conversation.

When Mark and Peachfuzz find themselves trapped in a room with a dead body wearing a wolf mask. They scramble to look for answers, and during their conversation, they get interrupted by a voice that says that it's the Wolf Slayer. The Wolf Slayer further tasks them with puzzles, which, if they cannot solve, can lead to their deaths. The Wolf Slayer gives them their first clue, which reads,

"I know you can see the tub, but therein lies the rub. For the only way to truly see is the DVD."

Mark rushes to the bathtub and picks up a television set. Peachfuzz, the ultimate mastermind behind this, appreciates Mark's move and adds that they must find the DVD. As Peachfuzz tries to manipulate him further, strangely, he picks up his t-shirt, and when he turns around, we see the DVD tapes behind his back. Mark snatches it right away and turns on the TV.

The Creep Tapes Season 2 Episode 3 recap: Wolf Slayer's message to Mark and Peachfuzz

As they turn on the TV, a video message from the Wolf Slayer appears. He congratulates them for solving their first puzzle and then shows them a clip of a man enjoying a sandwich in his bright red car. He then gives them the second clue,

"I think it's just fried chicken. But beware the finger licking. Figure out how you landed here and you'll be one step freer."

They argue all over again as Mark shows his disinterest in solving the puzzle. Peachfuzz motivates him and asks him to look for clues from the dead body. As Mark removes the blanket and the wolf mask, they find that it's the same man from the video clip. Yes, it's the sandwich guy. Peachfuzz loses his cool, and he starts yelling at Mark. In the process, he himself scoops out the clues, a DVD from the sandwich guy, an axe from the bathtub, and he smashes the television set with it. He then finds a mysterious black bag and takes out a saw and tries to threaten Mark.

What's interesting is that Peachfuzz loses his cool, and at this point, anyone could understand that he's set up the puzzles. He was annoyed at Mark for his constant disinterest. He then begins to spill the truth. Peachfuzz reveals that the chicken sandwich contained poison and a key to the chains. He hands the saw to Mark and asks him to cut through the dead body. Mark finally asks Peachfuzz how he knows so much about the puzzles. It is here that Peachfuzz reveals that he's the Wolf Slayer, and he's controlling the voices and the lights, too.

Mark tries to run away, but the doors are locked. Peachfuzz shows his frustration as he blames himself for setting up a difficult puzzle. Peachfuzz gives Mark another chance and instructs him to look for the keys in the dead body's gut. As he cuts through the body, spilling blood, Peachfuzz cheers him up. The next few minutes are quite gory as Mark searches for the key.

When Mark reveals his identity, Peachfuzz tells him that he's not the person he intended to kidnap. He wanted to kidnap a surgeon called John, and when Mark asked about his motive. He revealed that he was influenced by the show Dexter, and he wanted to teach John a lesson. He said that John had a habit of drugging his male patients unnecessarily. He also revealed that he was influenced by Saw.

In the end, just when Mark thought that he was free, Peachfuzz told him that since Mark now knows what he looks like, he cannot let him go away. Mark pleads with him that he will not tell anybody about the incident. In the closing scenes of The Creep Tapes Season 2 Episode 3, just when Mark solves the very last puzzle and finds the keys from his shoes, he storms out of the room. But unfortunately, Peachfuzz kills him in the end.
