After an unfortunate accident, Nak-su is forced to see a psychiatrist, who tells him about teh childhood trauma he has endured, which resulted in the panic attacks that he encounters now.The trauma mainly came from his older brother, with whom he used to compete. However, as an adult, his brother asks for an apology, which leaves Nak-su thinking whether he would have been a different person if his brother had apologized earlier. Later, with the advice of the doctor, Nak-su tries to bond with his son to ensure he doesn't feel the same lack of love as Nak-su did.With several twists still to unfold, the finale, which will air on November 30, 2025, will conclude The Dream Life of Mr. Kim. According to Soompi, Seung-ryeong, who plays Mr. Kim, shared how the cats and crew gave it all to make a series that they might not be able to do ever again, and said:"We truly, sincerely poured our heart and soul into filming.
