Samantha Bond as Judith Potts

Samantha Bond reprises her role as Judith Potts in Season 2. An extremely intelligent archaeologist, Potts is now shown to be retired, spending her time solving crosswords. Her first case came into being after she heard a gunshot from one of her neighbor’s houses and was convinced that a murder had taken place.

Samantha Bond has previously been seen in projects like The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Inheritance, Death in Paradise, etc. She has also been a part of a series of James Bond movies.

Cara Horgan as Becks Starling

Cara Horgan also returns as Becks Starling in season two. She is one of the two people with whom Judith forms her detective group. Becks is the vicar’s wife, and being a mother of two children who mostly has to stay home to take care of them, she often finds it difficult to ascribe some meaning to her life. However, that changes when she gets involved with the murder investigation led by Judith.

Jo Martin as Suzie Harris

Her daughter is gearing up for university, and after she leaves, Suzie’s involvement with the investigations is likely to keep her from feeling too lonely.

Natalie Dew as Tanika Malik

Natalie Dew reprises her role as Detective Sergeant Tania Malik. She works with the Marlow Police and is shown to be captaining the department as the Detective Inspector has fallen sick. Tania is quite appreciative of the Marlow Murder Club, headed by Judith with Becks and Suzie, and also takes help from them at times.
