"The next day it flipped": Love Is Blind: UK star Javen calls Katisha's decision of choosing him instead of Demola

Love Is Blind: UK Season 2 Episode 5 released on August 20, 2025. The latest batch of episodes featured engaged couples. The fifth episode of the social experiment explored relationships growing among the couples.

However, one of the couples, Katisha and Javen, found themselves in a bit of a situation. It was when Katisha mentioned that some of the fellow couples "questioned" her. Javen asked her about her last conversation with Demola during the pods. He also told her that he understood why she was being asked questions about her decision to choose him and not Demola. Javen said:

"I think...I understand why they're asking questions, to be honest. When it went from Demola's coming out feeling confident, and the next day it flipped. I do wanna know what was said. I'm more intrigued than anything. There was obviously some kind of...Something he was fed in a 24-hour period."

For the current phase of the social experiment, engaged couples were living together in a shared space. It was for them to explore their physical chemistry, along with spending more time together with their partner.

One of the couples, Javen and Katisha, sitting in different parts of the living room, discussed a previous incident. Javen asked Katisha what was bothering her.

Love Is Blind: UK star said it was nothing specific. However, she mentioned fellow engaged couples and how they were asking questions. Love Is Blind: UK star Katisha replied:

"I feel like everything that they've discussed or talked about is all assumed. I don't understand why people can't take it for what it is. It's none of their business."

Javen told her that he could understand why she was being questioned. He recalled how Demola was confident about being paired with Katisha. He also said that he wanted to know how her last conversation with Demola went. He said:

"You wouldn't walk around saying, I'm gonna walk away with this person, unless someone else is giving me confirmation that that's gonna happen. Like, that just wouldn't happen. That doesn't make sense."

Seeing her hesitant about sharing anything about that conversation, Javen added that it was not a big deal. Love Is Blind: UK star Katisha responded that it was a big deal. Javen said that it wasn't, and he just wanted to know what had happened. Javen questioned:

"If you don't wanna tell me, you're not gonna tell me, innit?"

Katisha said whatever she said, at the time, was "silly." She recalled that one of the last things she told Demola was "not to worry." Listening to her, Javen said, if someone had told them to "not worry," then they wouldn't "worry."

In his private confession, Love Is Blind: UK star Javen said he didn't want anyone to question her. But since she told Demola to "not worry," it gave him a little bit of sentiment.

He was thinking about how that last conversation between Katisha and Demola must have gone. He thought Demola must have been under the impression that he was going to leave the pods with Katisha. Javen said:

"Then the next day, he (Demola) gets a switchroo."

He was worried whether that behavior of Katisha was going to be repeated.
