What happened in The Winning Try Episode 3-4?
In the previous episodes of The Winning Try, Ju Ga-ram took a trip to the countryside in search of a new player and found Mun Ung, the son of a former rugby player. However, Ung’s father, Mun Cheol-young, who had to retire due to a knee injury, did not want his son to take the same path.
Ga-ram convinced him to let his son play the game, which requires a team effort to win, rather than playing like them, who wanted to win alone. With Mun Ung, Ga-ram faced several new hurdles before he could get Mun Ung to join the team.
With the Vice Principal’s cheap tricks to disband the rugby team, Ung had to compete in three technical sports, such as rugby, fencing, and archery, which seemed impossible for the rookie athlete. However, with Ga-ram’s snooping, Ung wins and clears the rugby and fencing rounds, and even with the VP changing the last sport to shooting, he still wins as U-jin loses on purpose.
According to the preview, the upcoming episodes might focus on the team's training, as they still don’t have a field to practice on. Further, it will also depict Seong-jun’s efforts to get closer to U-jin and I-ji.
