After an over two-year-long silence, details about All of Us Are Dead Season 2 are finally being revealed. Recently, announcements about the cast and filming of Season 2 have been made public. While Netflix has already confirmed that the four protagonists —Park Ji-hu, Lomon, Cho Yi-hyun, and Yoon Chan-young — will return to reprise their roles in All of Us Are Dead Season 2, four new actors joining the anticipated series have been disclosed as well.
The new cast members also include two Squid Game actors: Kim Si-eun, who portrayed player 095, Kim Yeong-mi in Season 2, and Nah Jae-won, who played the crazy friend of BIGBANG’s T.O.P, Nam Gyu (player 124), who has survived the game so far and will also be making a comeback in the upcoming final season of Squid Game.

Two Squid Game actors among the new cast joining All of Us Are Dead Season 2
All of Us Are Dead premiered in 2022 and was among Netflix’s global hit shows. The series revolves around a high school in the city of Hyosan, which becomes a ground zero for a zombie outbreak after a failed experiment by a science teacher.
The series was renewed in the same year, but unfortunately, it underwent delays after delays. But this year, after a long wait, the viewers are finally receiving updates regarding filming and the cast. As per a report by Naver, four new cast members would be joining the cast of All of Us Are Dead Season 2, two of them from the recent Squid Game season.
Kim Si-eun played Kim Yeong-mi in Squid Game Season 2, who died after losing in the Mingle game. She was left behind and ended up causing a scuffle between Im Si-wan’s Myung-gi and Park Sung-hoon’s Hyun-ju, who were close to her character. The other actor joining the cast is Nah Jae-won, who plays Nam Gyu and survived the games in Season 2, and will also be part of Season 3 of Squid Game.
This is not the first instance of a Squid Game cast member joining All of Us Are Dead. Lee Yoo-mi, who played Ji-yeong (player 240) in Squid Game Season 1 and sacrificed herself to let Jung Ho-yeon’s player 67 win, also appeared as the spoiled brat Lee Na-yeon in All of Us Are Dead and was one of the most hated characters of the season.
Other than the two actors, Weak Hero Class 2’s Lee Min-jae is also confirmed to join All of Us Are Dead Season 2. Apart from them, Seo Ji-hoon, known for appearing in Prison Playbook, My Lovely Liar, and Revenge of Others, will also appear in the new season.
More about All of Us Are Dead Season 2
Apart from the new cast update, it was also revealed that filming will begin from July 2025, meaning the zombie-apocalypse show might not be too far from making a comeback on screens. However, not much of the plot about All of Us Are Dead Season 2 has been shared, apart from director Lee Jae-kyoo sharing a minor detail. During an interview with Osen, he said:
"Season 2 will feature more powerful and evolved zombies, and the story will unfold in the fallen Seoul. We are currently preparing for production, and we plan to return to you with a more fun and spectacular drama, so please look forward to it."
Therefore, with a new cast joining the already stellar ensemble who survived in Season 1, All of Us Are Dead Season 2 will surely be back with a more terrifying and compelling narrative.
