The finale of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty wasn’t just an ending. It was a showcase of Yoona and Lee Chae-min's unavoidable chemistry.

Since the premiere, fans have been expressing their love and support for the leading characters, and even mentioned that Lee's performance was the kind that raises the bar for K-drama acting. And as a fan myself, the actor was indeed a scene-stealer.

Following Lee Chae-min's growing popularity and the finale of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, a fan wrote on X (earlier Twitter):

Notably, Lee worked really hard for this project as he was cast at the last moment, when the original actor, Park Sung-hoon, had to step down due to the Squid Game controversy. So, Lee Chae-min had little time to prepare for the role and gave his all.

In a recent interview, the actor explained that he was happy to meet the director of the K-drama and mentioned being his fan. Lee said:

"I felt I really had to work hard for the role. I went in with pressure, expectation, and excitement... I was given about a month, so I tried to do my best within that time."

From horseback riding to calligraphy academies, Lee Chae-min learned it all in just a month. And as a result, fans are now rooting for a Season 2 and more K-dramas featuring the stars.
