24 in 24: Last Chef Standing season 2 came to an end on May 25, 2025. The episode saw a winner in Jonathan Sawyer over Bryan Voltaggio. The two were the only ones left standing after all the other chefs had been eliminated.

During their last round, Jonathan had a lead with Golden Knife and used to change his protein. He set it to lamb racks. As for Bryan, he got Blue Foot Chicken.

Sawyer made lamb chops with uni and chanterelle mushrooms. The judges remarked that his lambs were cooked to perfection. They were impressed with him putting a spin on the use of uni at a place where anchovies are used and said that it was impressive.

As for Bryan, he had prepared roasted blue-foot chicken with parsnips and maitake mushrooms. He added various modern elements to his dinner dish, and it looked great.

The winner was thus announced, and it was Jonathan Sawyer. However, 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing fans are not on board with the results. They feel as if Bryan was robbed of the victory that he deserved just because Jonathan had a better story.

Expressing their views and calling for a blind taste testing in the seasons to come, fans wrote their opinion on X. One of them said,

"I think Next Season #24in24 should be blind taste testing. I feel like this is rigged due to them. Knowing everyone and picking their bestie"
"Bryan and Jonathan were worthy final opponents but my heart broke a little for Bryan. That being said, blind tasting is a must for next season! i would love to see Chef Guarnaschelli compete please," read a comment.
"This is soooo rigged without BLIND TASTING! The outcome would have been much different! Not fair to contestants!" said another fan.
"My God this 24 in 24 is crooked as F!!!! It should be blind judging! Like seriously blind judging! Too many keep saying they’ve known him for so long, we’re best buddies etc etc….this is BS! #24in24 #MichaelSimon this is so wrong!" expressed a fan.
"Food Network is way too incestuous not to do blind tasting," wrote another.
"You guys should only do blind tasting for any competition. You have too many judges that always know the competitors. You don't need to have chefs explain their dishes. If so let the show host read their dish descriptions," said a fan.

24 in 24: Last Chef Standing Season 2 Finale

During the 8th shift of 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing, there were 5 contestants who had gone through some rigorous hours to prove they were worthy of the title.

At the end, only Bryan and Jonathan remained. Before they could present their final dishes, each was asked about what they would do if they won.

Bryan thought about it and revealed that he would donate the money to an NGO that helps children in need who often go hungry or without food. However, he will also set aside some money to spend time with his family on a vacation.

Jonathan came prepared. He talked about his sobriety journey and how he has been sober for 30 months now. Revealing his intentions once he wins, Jonathan said that he would work to help other chefs in the industry who are dealing with substance abuse just like he did.

By the end, Jonathan was crowned the winner of 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing.
