"Took that in a hard way": Perfect Match star Freddie opens up about his post-show relationship with Madison

Perfect Match star Freddie appeared on fellow co-star AD's What's the Reality? podcast on August 27, 2025. While on the podcast, Freddie opened up about many things, including his relationship with Madison, dating, being single, and more.

Fans saw Freddie matched with Madison on the show and shared a stronger bond. The two were among the final couples on Perfect Match Season 3. However, their relationship ended shortly after the show's finale.

When AD asked Freddie about his bond with Madison and what happened between the two, he shared:

"So, after the show, myself and Madison, we stayed in contact for a brief period. And yeah, I think that...in ultimately, for me, after kind of discussing things with my family and having sort of having you know chatting to Madison over time, over the few weeks after the show, it just became apparent that maybe it wasn't kind of, for me. It wasn't something that I wanted to sort of pursue."

He added:

Yeah, I think, I feel bad because Madison took that in a hard way. I know she did. But I was just being...I just had to sort of express my feelings."

During his recent appearance on What's the Reality? podcast, Perfect Match star Freddie recalled what happened between him and Madison. After the two were one of the finalist couples on the Netflix show, Freddie and Madison were together.

While talking to Freddie about the show and what happened after, AD asked him:

"So, let's jump back to kind of like the end of the show. What happened after the show ended with you and Madison?"

Freddie said that they were in touch for a "brief period." However, after he discussed things with his family and Madison, he learned that it wasn't something that he wanted to pursue.

When Freddie had a chat with Madison about the same, she took it "the hard way."

"And it was a difficult conversation. But I just ...I had to sort of say it's not...it's not going to work for me moving forward. And yeah, it was difficult. But I...to be honest with her, and there was just too many things for me that I felt were going to be like, things that I couldn't sort of overcome, and distance being one of them," added Freddie.

Further, AD asked the Perfect Match star if he and Madison were still in touch and were talking. Freddie said they still talk, and he would always be "supportive" of Madison.

Later on, Freddie also revealed being single. He added that he was seeing somebody "briefly." He also shared his thoughts on what he learned over his journey throughout the show.
