Twelve Episode 7 recap: Samin kidnaps Mirr and forces Ogwi and the angels into a final showdown at Hellmouth

Fans of Twelve were in for a rollercoaster as Episode 7 brought some of the most unexpected twists, like Ogwi turning to the angels for help and the mighty beings facing their lost angels under Samin's control. The latest episode is packed with unavoidable chaos.

The K-drama that airs on KBS for the local audience and is about to debut on Disney+ for the international fans focuses on eight out of twelve angels navigating the challenges in the present world. They lost their powers and four angels in an epic fight against the dark forces.

But the tables have now turned as Tae-san himself broke the seal of Hellmuoth, unleashing the demons and getting back the powers of each angel. But in a heartbreaking moment in episode 7, these eight angels were put against their long-lost four siblings, leaving them vulnerable.

However, they're no longer the same. Thanks to Samin, who summoned them and filled them with his dark energy. So, they end up becoming Samin's demons in the latest episode.

Twelve Episode 7 opens by uncovering Ogwi's backstory. In the present, He safely gets Mirr away from Samin, explaining to viewers how deep their love was long ago. In parallel to this, Samin is prepping his followers to open Hellmouth, asking them to dismember the angels before he himself is under the influence, tainting his body.

The flashback reveals that when Ogwi was in prayer, Samin tried to baffle him into accepting darkness and persuaded him to command the angels instead of following them. What happens next is a heart-wrenching moment: Samin transforms Ogwi into an evil spirit.

However, Ogwi did not allow Samin to seduce him into joining the destruction of the angels and strongly warned him to stay back. When Kang-jin confronted Ogwi and urged him to turn back to God and prevent Mirr from hurting, he declined.

Ogwi stated that it was always his decision and that he always wanted to take this path. Mirr was devastated after learning bout the dark transformation. She was left heartbroken by the love of her life turning away from everything good.

Mirr and Ogwi's painful reunion in Twelve Episode 7, explained

Shifting to the present timeline, Mirr and Ogwi finally come face to face. But their reunion is short-lived, as Mirr chooses to walk away because of the decisions Ogwi made in the past. At the same time, chaos spreads across the world, with angels rushing to protect as many people as they can from the destruction.

Things take a darker turn when Samin kidnaps Mirr, using her as leverage in his quest for greater power. In desperation, Ogwi seeks the angels’ help, knowing that he alone cannot stop Samin. The group then makes their way to the Hellmouth, the dangerous heart of the unfolding catastrophe, determined to put an end to Samin’s schemes before he becomes unstoppable.

Twelve Episode 7 ends with shocking betrayals and an intense showdown

The climax unfolds inside the house, where the angels clash against Samin’s men. Just when they think they know who they’re fighting, they are stunned to see familiar faces: their long-lost brothers and sisters, now resurrected but enslaved under Samin’s control.

The betrayal hurts so much, compelling the angels to fight against those they loved dearly. While some of the angels hold the cursed angels back, Tae-san steps forward to confront Samin and prepare to fight.

The penultimate episode of Twelve ends with that standoff and leaves viewers to wonder what sacrifices will be made, and whether the angels can defeat their enemies and restore peace in the world by resealing the Hellmouth.
