Peacock's Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 was an intense showdown as all drivers gave their best to cross the finish line and pass Calypso's qualifying round. While Episode 5 saw many drivers succumbing to their fates, Episode 6 featured an unexpected and tragic death that might change John and Quiet's relationship forever.

Before the qualifying round, the episode flashes back to John's first meeting with Calypso, where Calypso revealed that if given a chance, he would wish to be noticed. Back in the qualifying round, Raven is the first to pass through the finish line, with Sweet Tooth and Stu soon following her.

Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 then featured the driver's orientation, where they are asked to lock in their wishes.

Here is the complete Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 recap.

Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 recap: Dollface sacrifices herself for John and Quiet

Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 continued with the qualifier's round, which saw many drivers crossing the finish line and thus gaining entries into the Tournament proper. While drivers were piling up at the finish line, Mr. Grimm caught up with John and Quiet on the tracks and started slashing their car with his reaper.

Just as it looked like John and Quiet would not be able to make it across the finish line, Dollface comes to their rescue and asks them to go ahead while she manages Grimm. She initially tries to handle Grimm, but is soon struck by spears launched by other drivers. Soon, all the other competitors pool around her and try to stop her, following which she takes out her gun and shoots at her backpack.

Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 took a violent and tragic turn as the shooting caused a missile to drop on both Dollface and many other drivers. As John, Quiet, and Mayhem cross the finish line, they realise that Dollface blew herself up for their sake, also eliminating many other drivers along with her.

Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 recap: Orientation in the Tournament City

As John reels with Dollface's death, Quiet checks up on him, and all the qualifying drivers are taken to the Orientation round. Calypso informs everyone that before their Orientation, all drivers will be given a medical exam. He also announces a major rule of the tournament, that no driver can kill a fellow contestant outside of an official round. If caught, they will be disqualified.

The drivers finally arrive in the Tournament City, where Calypso assigns them to their respective rooms with bunk beds. Raven throws a tantrum when she realizes that she has been chosen to bunk with Chuckie Floop. However, Calypso shuts her off, saying that everyone is equal in his city.

Quiet takes a moment to check on John in Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 after Dollface's death. Since contestants are allowed to make one wish per can (and not per driver), they decide to wish for the destruction of the city's walls, in Dollface's memory.

Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 recap: John's decision foreshadows a supernatural tone in the show

Finally, the most-awaited part of Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode 6 arrives when Calypso announces that everyone will be called in one by one to make their respective wishes (per can). As Raven, Sweet Tooth, Stu, and Grimm lock in their wishes, John and Quiet are called in last.

They see a mysterious wishing well inside the room, and Calypso asks them to toss a coin and make a wish. If they are lucky enough and manage to win the Tournament, their wish will be granted, no questions asked. As decided, Quiet picks up the coin and wishes for the city's every wall to come down, negating the distinction between Outsiders and Insiders.

As the duo walks out of the room, John realises that he has forgotten Dollface's mask inside and goes back to take it. He is suddenly triggered by one of Dollface's memories from his birthday, which forces him to make a bold decision. Betraying their pact, John also picks up a coin and wishes for Dollface to come back to life. After Grimm and Calypso's mysterious powers, Episode 6 introduced another supernatural element, Dollface's resurrection.

While John's decision puts his relationship with Quiet in jeopardy, it also increases the stakes of the competition for him.
